Rivière Qui Barre Agricultural Society Funding Request
Council approved a funding request from the Rivière Qui Barre (RQB) Agricultural Society for Community Centre renovation project in the amount of $325,000. The funding will be used to help cover the costs to refurbish washrooms, change rooms, coatroom, storage, janitorial, and office areas.
West Sturgeon Agricultural Society – Proposed Future Development
Council received a presentation from the West Sturgeon Agricultural Society regarding proposed development of walking and cross-country ski trails on their property east of Calahoo. The presentation was referred to Administration to present additional information and a recommendation at a future Council meeting.
