Temporary Road Closures
Sturgeon County may need to close roadways in the event of maintenance or construction. Partial closures are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., unless otherwise posted. No through traffic is allowed during full road closures; however, people who live in the work area will be able to travel to and from their home.
During construction and closures, please expect delays. Drive with caution and follow traffic signage to keep yourself and workers safe.

Road Bans
Every spring, the weight for commercial vehicles and the goods they carry is restricted on many Sturgeon County Roads. This restriction protects our roads from damage.
The Transportation & Engineering seasonal road ban Road Ban Order 1/2024 (see attached) will be in effect March 15, 2024 at 7:00 a.m.
