If you or someone you love is currently facing some economic challenges and want to take part in the programs and services, you can apply for financial assistance.

Child Program Subsidy

The Sponsor a Child program helps families pay the registration fees for their children’s recreation, social or cultural classes.

This program is funded by public donations and has a limited number of spots available.

Donate to Sponsor a Child

Donate today to ensure a child has an experience to remember!  100 per cent of your donation goes to the registration fee for a child from Sturgeon County to attend a community program of their choice. To submit an application or donation, email us.

Adult Program Subsidy

This program provides subsidies for up to the full program fee, or payments may be arranged for those who do not qualify for full assistance.

Seniors Subsidies

Sturgeon County seniors or medically at-risk adults living in their homes can apply for subsidies. This funding can be used for support like housekeeping, transportation, or frozen meals. A home assessment is required for all applications.

Sturgeon County offices will be close Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21 for the Easter weekend. Offices will re-open for regular business hours on Tuesday, April 22 from 8:30AM - 4:30PM.
