Connect with Sturgeon County to talk 2019 Budget
Sturgeon County, Alberta - To increase resident engagement, Sturgeon County launched an online tool that provides residents an opportunity to ask questions, get answers and learn more about the 2019 Budget.
“We recognize the value of public engagement and its importance in decision-making. Involving the public and stakeholders leads to better, more informed decisions,” says Rick Wojtkiw, General Manager, Corporate Support.
Council is currently reviewing budget recommendations for municipal operating and capital budgets this week, October 30, November 1 & 2. Formal Budget deliberations will follow on November 28, 29 and 30.
Residents are encouraged to ask budget related questions about priorities for the upcoming year. Are you interested in the budget process or about how a program or service will fit into the plan for 2019? Whatever the appropriate question is, we will make every effort to find the answer in a timely manner and all responses will be posted under “All Answers.”
Residents will also find quick links to budget documents for more detailed information.
